DIETARY AIDE:

The Dietary Aide will work as part of a dietary team to perform general kitchen and dining room tasks including: dining room set up, daily meal service, clean up, maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as assisting other dietary employees with food storage, meal prep and other duties as request by supervisor. Our dietary aide must conduct themselves in a professional and friendly manner at all times, especially when interacting with our residents, their families, visitors, and other staff. Requires 1 year verifiable employment, dietary experience preferred.

RESIDENTIAL CARE ASSISTANT

The CNA/RCA (Residential Care Assistant with CNA license) at Good Shepherd Community is truly one of the most important jobs on our campus because you are directly involved with our residents. This employee performs duties that include assisting residents with medication reminders, personal care services, monitoring emergency alert systems, maintaining required paperwork, assist in maintaining the security of the building, and adherence to the OLTC Rules & Regulations, as well as performing other duties that may be required by your supervisor. MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

 Good Shepherd Community is looking for a maintenance technician, preferably with plumbing experience, but experienced in a variety of maintenance skills and capable of performing repairs on various equipment including—electrical,plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and other systems and subsystems operated by Good Shepherd. You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks. Must enjoy working for our senior residents.

Responsibilities:

Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion

  • Estimate time and extent of repairs
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields.
  • Plumbing license
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
